Greg DiRenzo Performance Launches Full Scholarship in Partnership with USMCA to Develop Next Generation of Coaches
Cape Coral, FL – April 14, 2026 – Greg DiRenzo Performance, in collaboration with the U.S. Motorcycle Coaching Association (USMCA), today announced the official launch of the Greg DiRenzo Performance - USMCA Full Scholarship, a comprehensive program designed to identify and invest in talented young individuals passionate about fitness, performance training, and professional coaching.
The scholarship provides one deserving recipient (ages 13–30) with a package valued at over $10,000, including:

One full year of elite, personalized performance coaching with Greg DiRenzo Performance, focusing on strength, conditioning, mobility, recovery, and sport-specific development.

1 Full Semester of elite motorcycle coaching at G.A.M.E. Moto.

Full sponsorship for USMCA Certified Coach certification (including coursework, background check, CPR/First Aid, and 2-year membership). The recipient may keep the certification or gift it to another individual, such as a family member, teammate, or aspiring coach.
“This scholarship builds on the success I’ve had with similar programs in traditional sports,” said Greg DiRenzo, Founder of Greg DiRenzo Performance. “By combining elite performance training with USMCA’s gold-standard coaching certification, we’re creating a powerful pathway for the next generation of coaches who will positively impact athletes in motorsports and beyond.”
The application process is intentionally rigorous to attract high-potential candidates. Requirements include a minimum 2.75 GPA, two in-depth essays, a third-person personal biography / reference letter, and a compelling “Why I Should Receive the Scholarship” statement and a Demonstration of Potential & Passion for fitness/performance/coaching, leadership potential statement. Applications will be scored using a detailed 100-point rubric, with the Top 5 Finalists advancing to review by the Advisory Board.
The scholarship winner will be selected by a distinguished 5-person Advisory Board featuring industry leaders:

Harold Martin – The legend behind Playground and long-time motocross community promoter, contributor and supporter.
The board will evaluate finalists and choose the winner via ranked-choice voting. The 2026 application cycle opens April 15, 2026, with a deadline of 7:59pm EST June 14, 2026. Top 5 finalists will be decided on July 15, 2026, and the winner in August at or just prior to the Loretta Lynns Amateur National Championship.
Lindsey Scheltema of the USMCA expressed strong support for the initiative, noting its alignment with the organization’s mission to elevate coaching standards and grow the sport safely and professionally.
This partnership aims to bridge general fitness performance with motorcycle-specific coaching, foster community impact, and encourage recipients to “pay it forward” through mentoring and leadership.
